Boreal Heartland was started with 3 ambitious goals:
Provide sustainable income opportunities in Northern Saskatchewan, a region with only 38% employment (small towns, few industries), that supports the “Northern lifestyle” (outdoorsy, land stewardship, flexible).
Showcase the abundance and intrinsic value of boreal forest flora on a global scale. Our forest is so much more than “moose pasture” or a place for logging.

Good2Go (G2G) Bar opened their doors in 2010, they were one of the very first refrigerated protein bar companies in the industry. The idea of a fresh REFRIGERATED protein bar was foreign to everyone. In an attempt to encourage new customers to try our bars, they created the motto: "When you eat one, you'll know."
Although a decade has passed since they started the company, a few things will never change. G2G promises to leave out preservatives and artificial ingredients. Pack every bar with clean, simple, fresh ingredients. Produce every bar in our own facility so we can control the quality. And... most importantly, make them taste great (or why bother right?!).

After founder Claudia Marion’s youngest daughter was born (her FOURTH!) in 2016, inspiration struck, and Claudia imagined a lifestyle brand focused on supporting new & expecting families with functional and healthy options. Providing breast feeding moms with a simple & effective way to boost milk production seemed a great starting point!! As her baby grew, so did Stork and Dove – named after the symbolic love of a mother and the bird of love – and the company launched its first brand, Booby Boons, a woman owned, mom-led business.

Founded in 2018 by Southern California based Ashley Rogers, she was inspired by the traditional sweet potato to make better-for-you and better-for-the-world snacks that never compromise on taste, nutrition, or sustainability. A2 Cheese: Asiago, Gruyère & 2yr Aged
One of Bleswold’s goals is to educate people on why they use A2 milk and how it is beneficial to your health! Regular cows’ milk is mainly composed of 3 things: whey, milk fat, and protein. The protein in milk consists mostly of 2 beta-caseins - the A1 beta-casein and the A2 beta-casein. When regular milk that contains the A1 beta-casein reaches the small intestine, it is known to create a bioactive peptide called BCM-7. For some people, this peptide may cause irritation such as bloating, flatulence, and a sore stomach - many symptoms people commonly self diagnose as lactose intolerance.
To ensure that our milk is A1 beta-casein free, Bleswold have for the past 10 years been breeding their cows in a ‘back to roots’ manner. This means they do not have a purebred Holstein herd but a mixture of at least 5 different breeds. Each breed also comes with their own unique DNA. This has given them a massive genetic pool to choose from and it has also greatly helped to improve the health of our herd. As a bonus, Bleswold have been able to breed most of their herd to produce milk free of the A1 beta-casein, i.e. A2 Milk. To ensure that their cows are only producing A2 Milk they run a DNA test on each individual cow. All their A2 cows are kept in separate groups, and their milk is collected in separate tanks!

Snacklins was unceremoniously born in the back kitchen of a Washington D.C. barbeque joint sometime in 2015. Former radio personality and chef, Samy Kobrosly, became obsessed with the idea of a meat-free pork rind after joking with a friend about his inability to partake in the classic snack given his Muslim upbringing.
